Katrina Hamill-Schwank

Katrina Hamill-Schwank is the Student Outreach Specialist on the Integrated Student Communications team at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS), where she develops and implements student engagement strategies to foster connection, community, and success. She manages outreach initiatives, facilitates communication efforts, and supports student engagement through platforms like Nearpeer.

Katrina joined UCCS in September 2023 and is passionate about helping students navigate their college experience and access the support they need to thrive.

She is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Counseling and Human Services: Clinical Mental Health Counseling at UCCS and holds a Bachelor's degree in Counseling Psychology from Colorado Mesa University.

Outside of work, Katrina enjoys live music, traveling, crafting, cooking, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
