Strategic Enrollment Plan

The Strategic Enrollment Plan (SEP) outlines a path forward for 2025–2030 to stabilize enrollment, ensure fiscal health, and strengthen UCCS’s competitive position. Aligned with UCCS’s 2030 Strategic Plan, the SEP addresses enrollment and fiscal challenges through five key imperatives: improved student journeys, innovative academic pathways, reimagining recruitment, improving affordability and competitive advantage, and cultivating a continuum of student care to strengthen student support and well-being. These imperatives prioritize student-centered experiences, operational efficiencies, and sustainable growth to align with our student’s changing needs and Colorado’s workforce demands. Incremental improvements across divisions will drive recruitment, retention, and student satisfaction, serving as a foundation for institutional transformation and long-term growth.

As custodians of the student journey, it is our responsibility to pursue and understand our students’ expectations, experiences, and outcomes. These insights should shape the experiences and perceptions of our community. By identifying gaps between students’ expectations and our operational practices, our priority is to foster a well-rounded and cohesive campus culture built on shared understanding and agreement.
